STAR - Power is a verification tool that enables checks for UPF consistency against the RTL design. It enables a smooth update of the power intent file information to match the HDL design information that represents the reference. Also, the tool reports mismatches between UPF and RTL and suggests corrections of the UPF information. Finally, either the modified UPF files, the updated RTL or both are written out to fall within a defined power strategy.
